Amber Teething Necklaces

Amber teething necklaces are made for wearing (not chewing) when a baby is teething. The warmth from the skin releases the active ingredient in the Amber, called succinic acid. Recent research suggests that this can improve immunity, help reduce drooling and soothe red cheeks. Amber's anti-inflammatory properties are said to help relieve teething pain and calm a baby without the use of drugs.

Well, it's worth a try isn't it? I would try anything to soothe poor little Florence as she is getting more teeth as we speak! and i think the necklace has had some benefits already: not as much dribbling or fever.

Flobib is making new GORGEOUS BURP CLOTHS, photos will be out soon...These are burp cloths with a difference, made from sustainable Bamboo fabric and a unique 'pocket' to catch your little ones milky burps! Another new product available will be our cute girls headscarves - perfect for summer.

I had a great day taking Flobib to Mathildas Market yesterday - meeting customers and other sellers of baby & kids items. I wanted to let you all know about this fantastic new company called Lad and Lass they make such cute posters, lampshades and wallpaper for baby's nursery and 50% of their profits are donated to childrens charities - which is so amazing. I was lucky enough to snap up one of their 'My family tree' photo posters, which I think is beautiful. I cannot wait to fill it with our family photos and frame it on Florences wall! You can view their products at their website and buy them at their etsy shop. They will soon have a webstore (Ball & Skittle). Happy shopping!

So, it's time to leave my beloved apartment and into something new - the view from our apartment is amazing, and we will definitely miss it! but into a bigger house, just down the road, and Flobib will have a work space that 'works'! can't wait.
My current workspace at the breakfast bar in the kitchen is not ideal - but it's worked until now.

Once upon a time, there was little girl, whose name was Florence.

Florence was a dribbler! and pretty soon, Florence's Mummy discovered that this endless flow of dribble was starting to soak everything within 5 minutes flat!

So, one day, the tired mummy decided to put an end to this terrible atrocity by placing a bib around Florence’s neck…but this wasn’t just any old bib.

She decided that the bib should be more like a fashion accessory. Instead of covering up little Flo's outfits, they should complement them, or make a statement, and look funky - rather than fowl!

And so the ‘Flobib’ was born - named after her little girl Florence, and the endless Flo-w of dribble that kept on coming from Florence’s little mouth.
